Around 15,000 people attended three separate rallies in Metro Manila on January 31, each advocating for government accountability. The first protest, held at the historic People Power Monument in Barangay Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City, was centered on the impeachment complaints of Vice President Sara Duterte. Meanwhile, the second gathering at the EDSA Shrine near Ortigas Center in Quezon City, focused on the recent budget allocation issues and alleged corruption within the administration. The third protest, led by progressive student groups and youth-led party lists focused on supporting the impeachment complaints and calling for an end to poverty, corruption, and impunity amid the deepening rift within the administration’s top leaders.
