Tensions were high during the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) attempt to serve an arrest warrant against Pastor Apollo Quiboloy in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound in Buhangin, Davao City, on Monday, June 10. Around 100 policemen from the different units of the PNP faced resistance from approximately “hundreds” of KOJC supporters, who barricaded the compound to prevent the police force’s entry.
