Islamist Insurgency and Terrorism Report – November 2020
In November 2020, PSA Intelligence recorded 15 Islamist insurgency-related violent incidents.
Based on PSA Consultancy data, there were 15 Islamist-related violent incidents on the month of November 2020. The figure is one incident higher than the 14 violent incidents recorded in the previous month.
Most of the violent incidents recorded this month were attributed to the members of the Abu Sayyaf Group. Out of the total number of violent incidents, nine violent incidents were perpetrated by the ASG, two violent incidents each were attributed to the Ansar al-Khilafah Philippines (AKP), Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF), and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF). One violent incident involved members of unidentified lawless elements.
